What Katie Believes
One size doesn’t fi t every child - she has had a child in private school, public school, and she has been a homeschool parent. She understands the need for parents to have the right to choose.
Teachers deserve our respect and appreciation. During her time working in the House, the Legislature passed historic pay raises for teachers.
There is no greater role for our School Board than to make sure our children are safe. During her time as an aide for Rep. Chris Latvala, Katie had a hand in passing several bills that make our children safer in schools.
Katie will always stand for parents’ rights in education, because she believes that, regardless of your political affiliation, parents know what is best for their children.
